4 Longshots With A Chance To Win The World Series

Each these bets are priced at +1500 or longer.

Of course, everyone is betting on the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers to win the World Series right now as they’re the best teams in baseball. However, it’s still very early in the season – we haven’t even hit the All-Star Break – and a lot can change. Just look at the Golden State Warriors or the Duke Blue Devils, both whom were huge chalks early on in their respective leagues but both never cashed in.

With that in mind, we’re taking a look at four longshots with a chance to win the World Series. Each pick at to be priced at 15/1 or longer.

Milwaukee Brewers

World Series Odds: +1600

The Brewers aren’t very far back of Minnesota in terms of their sports betting odds to win it all at +1600 odds. Still, Milwaukee deserves a long look based on those odds. Christian Yelich has been an absolute monster for the Brewers with the most home runs in the majors. Meanwhile, Zach Davies has led an improved pitching staff that needs to continue to get better as the year progresses in order to get Milwaukee in to the World Series picture. The margin for error in the NL Central is very thin. Still, the brewers are worth a look at long odds to contend.

Cleveland Indians

World Series Odds: +3500

Looking much further down the list, Cleveland’s odds to win it all have taken a major hit following a 37-33 start to the season. Still, the Indians are right there in the AL Wild Card hunt with plenty of room for improvement. Shane Bieber has been lights out all year, but Cleveland still needs Corey Kluber and Carlos Carrasco to get healthy and pitch better in order to turn things around. On the flip side, Carlos Santana has been better than advertised but more is still need from Jose Ramirez, who has stumbled to a .203 batting average. The Indians have the talent. If you believe they can turn things around, then it might be worth taking a chance on them to win it all at +3500 odds.

Colorado Rockies

World Series Odds: +4000

Also at +4000 odds is a Colorado team that is two games back of an NL Wild Card spot. Nolan Arendado, Charlie Blackmon and Trevor Story have been outstanding. Meanwhile, Ian Desmond has turned a corner and May while Daniel Murphy still has a lot more to give. The Rockies can hit with the best in the NL. Can they get consistent enough pitching to finally make a postseason run? At long odds, now is the time to bet on Colorado to win a championship if you believe they have what it takes.

Arizona Diamondbacks

World Series Odds: +4000

When it comes to sleeper picks, Arizona is right there as another excellent value option. Depending on the sportsbook that you are a member with, you could find the Diamondbacks available as high as +5000 odds. Arizona has won eight of its last 11 games to pull within two games of an NL Wild Card spot. Ketel Marte has already passed his career high for home runs, Eduardo Escobar has been red hot and the Diamondbacks pitching staff appears to be just strong enough to contend for a playoff spot. If you are looking to take a shot on a sleeper at outstanding odds then the Arizona might be worth taking a chance on right now.
